Dog Haus University is owned by Charles Burhans, a lifelong dog lover. After 18 years as a consultant, Charles and his family decided to move from Michigan to Madison. He acquired the business in 2018 and has been enjoying petting dogs every day since. He has a special fondness for jowly dogs, especially bulldogs, and pet-related puns.
